How many Google reviews are you missing to reach 4.8?
Enter your average and the number of reviews and see how many new 5-star reviews you need and how long it takes. Then create the review link with a QR code for your reception and appointment cards.
Free. No signup. Runs entirely in your browser, nothing is transmitted or stored.
Google rounds the average to one decimal, so the numbers are an estimate. Ask all patients for a review, not only the satisfied ones, and offer nothing in return. Both break Google's policies.
How the tool works
CALCULATE
The way to your target
From your average and count the calculator works out how many new 5-star reviews are needed for Google to show your target. With the time at your pace and the effect of a single 1-star review.
LINK
Review link from the Place ID
Your Place ID becomes the link that opens your practice's review window directly. You can also paste an existing link from your Google Business Profile.
QR CODE
Ready to print
The QR code is created in your browser, as SVG for print or as PNG. For reception, appointment cards and receipts.
Questions about Google reviews
How do I find my Place ID?
With Google's Place ID Finder: search your practice and copy the ID, which usually starts with "ChIJ". Or use the link from your Google Business Profile under "Get more reviews".
Why does Google show 4.8 from 4.75?
Google rounds the average to one decimal. The calculator therefore uses 4.75 as the threshold for showing 4.8.
May I ask patients for reviews?
Yes, but all of them equally, not only the satisfied ones. Selecting people or offering something in return, such as a discount, breaks Google's policies and can lead to removed reviews.
Can I have bad reviews deleted?
Only if they break the policies, for example insults or false claims. Otherwise a polite, factual reply that contains no patient data helps.
Is what I enter stored?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is transmitted.
