Privacy policy

1. Controller

The controller for the processing of personal data on this website is Thrive Digital GmbH, Ahornweg 5, 3123 Belp, Switzerland (represented by Genc Doda). You can reach us at hello@thrivedigital.ch or +41 79 120 54 44. Please send any data protection questions to the same address.

2. What this is about

This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or contact us, what we need it for, and what rights you have. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, it applies in addition.

3. Visiting the website and hosting

The website is hosted by Webflow, Inc. (USA). When you open a page, the hosting service automatically records technical data in server log files: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system type, and the page you came from. We need this data to deliver the website, keep it secure and stable, and detect misuse. Webflow uses servers and networks of other providers (content delivery networks) for this. We do not use this data to identify you.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores. We use technically necessary cookies so the website works, for example to remember your cookie choice in the cookie "cc_cookie". We only set all other cookies and similar technologies such as local storage, in particular for analytics (section 5), with your consent. We ask you for it in a notice window on your first visit. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Some features may then be limited.

5. Website analytics

We want to understand which content is used so we can improve the website and our tools. We use two services for this.

Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA) records pseudonymous usage data such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, and device and browser. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data with the browser add-on from Google.

PostHog (PostHog, Inc., USA) records pseudonymous events such as page views and clicks, so we can see how visitors use the website and the free tools. The data is stored in the PostHog cloud in the USA. The analysis is pseudonymous. We do not record session videos.

The legal basis is your consent. Without your consent, Google Analytics and PostHog are not activated. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. For Google Analytics you can also prevent collection with the add-on mentioned above.

6. Fonts

We serve the fonts of this website (IBM Plex and Cerabasic) ourselves. Nothing is transmitted to Google or other font providers.

7. Forms and email sign-up

When you fill in a form on this website, we store what you enter (such as your email address) at Webflow. To protect against spam, the forms use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), which checks technical data from your browser. If you sign up for our email updates, we also pass your email address to HighLevel (HighLevel Inc., USA), our customer management system, and send you tips and ideas about marketing, websites and automation through it, several times a week. The legal basis is your consent when you sign up. You can end the email updates at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to hello@thrivedigital.ch.

8. Booking a call

We use HighLevel (HighLevel Inc., USA) to book discovery calls. The calendar is embedded on the "Intro call" page. As soon as you open that page, your browser connects to HighLevel and your IP address is transmitted. When you book, we process your first and last name, email address, phone number, website address and the time you choose. We also process your answers to our questions: a description of your business (target group, offer, price structure), what sets you apart from others, and your assessment of whether you can invest in the growth of your business. We need this to prepare the call and check whether we are a good fit, to remind you by email or SMS, and to follow up with you afterwards. The data is stored in our customer management system. Please do not put information about third parties or particularly sensitive data in your answers, for example patients' health data.

9. Free tools

The free tools on this website run in your browser. What you enter is not sent to us and is not stored. An exception are tools that check a website address: the robots.txt checker, the sitemap validator, the website check and the link checker. There our server at Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) requests the public address and its files for you and returns the result to your browser. We do not store the address. For technical reasons Cloudflare processes your IP address when this happens. The program files of the tools and of the cookie notice are also delivered by Cloudflare.

10. Client reviews

We manage the testimonials on the home page ourselves, and our website delivers the texts directly. We play video testimonials with the video player of the provider Bunny.net (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia). As soon as a video appears in the visible area of the home page, your browser connects to Bunny.net and starts a muted preview. Your IP address and technical details about your browser are transmitted to Bunny.net in the process. When you click the video, it starts with sound.

11. Links to other providers

We link to our profiles on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Webflow. These are ordinary links without embedded plug-ins. The privacy policy of the respective provider applies only once you click.

12. Disclosure and transfers abroad

We only share personal data with service providers that we need to run the website and to talk with you (sections 3 to 10). Several of them are based in the USA. We rely on an adequacy decision (Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses. We do not sell personal data.

13. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose concerned. Log files are deleted or anonymised after a short time. We keep enquiries and booking data for as long as the enquiry or business relationship lasts. We are required to keep business records for up to ten years.

14. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access restrictions. We cannot guarantee absolute security when data is transmitted over the internet.

15. Your rights

You can request access to your personal data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask us to restrict processing, object to processing, withdraw consent you have given, and ask for your data to be handed over. Write to us at hello@thrivedigital.ch. To protect your data, we verify your identity before we give you access. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority; in Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch).

16. Changes

We update this policy when the website or the legal requirements change. The version published at the time applies. Last updated: October 2026.
